Why is the neck so big?

Everything fit great EXCEPT the turtle neck part itself was way to big and wide and sat like a scarf. Was expecting the turtle neck to be a tight fitting normal turtle neck

This shirt is exactly as advertised. The inside is not velvel like the outside but smooth. The size chart is pretty honest.

someone buy these guys a shirt pattern

Pretty sure this was designed to be worn by a block of wood. No human is shaped like this thing is.I get a big baggy pouch under the chin, and too tight in the back.I wish, when buying on ebay, I could tell I was about to get crap from China.
