Useful and accessible.

Useful accessory for those who have a good player or cassette. Knowing when a cartridge has failed is very useful. It is equally important to know when a cartridge has expired.

Works great, looks great.

The stylus timer is perfect! I take good care of my stylus and want to get the most out of it. The timer helps me with that. It's solidly built and looks great next to my turntable. Highly recommended. The cleaning kit is a great bonus.

Stylus timer for cleaning and repairing

What a great idea! Now I finally know how much time I have on the turntable. Why didn't anyone come up with this idea before? The stylus brush is identical to the one I paid $5 for. It fits into the compartment at the top of the record brush and stays where it's not needed. I am very happy with this purchase, especially for less than $25!

I love Stylus Timer!

I received this kit with my new Fluance turntable. The Ortofon 2M Blue's replacement pin is quite expensive, so now I know exactly when to change it and when it fails. The included complete brush set makes this bundle a great purchase. I love how the little ones are kept inside the big ones so you never miss their place.

Fun and useful in cleaning and cleaning products

I saw the StylusTimer recommended in several vinyl items on the internet and wanted to buy it. They didn't say you could get it for just $4 with a writing brush set, so I grabbed it when I saw that. The packaging of the combo is basic, but the packaging of the StylusTimer is nice and the product inside is more durable and well made than I expected. Now you know. Knowledge is half the battle!

Now that I know it exists, I think the StylusTimer is absolutely essential. You may or may not know how much time you have, and I had no idea how much time I had. I will use it with my player now and just reload it when I get a new cartridge. My turntable is now six months old and listens pretty consistently so when using it I can extrapolate how much time I have on the cartridge and know when to change the stylus. What the heck I could use that as an excuse to upgrade the cartridge so I can…
