Works best in welders and accessories

I bought this to use on a metal melting furnace. That works great. Screws directly into a standard left-hand thread American propane tank. The two dials really help me to know when my tank is getting low and the adjustment is precise enough to work for most purposes.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Requires outlet

And finally smaller gauges for portable installation

Always look for a small set of drinking water tank gauges. I bought one that said they were 2" but they arrived and were larger than average. I had to return them. They were perfect and were identical replacements for my original sensors. Here it is!

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Junk gas regulator

I wouldn't inflate a balloon with this. 1500 psi in the tank, the gauge reads 1000. Set it to 20, pull the trigger on the burner, it will drop to 18. Turn off the tank, it will go up to 50. Bought at the port for 70, works fine. I've used 2 stages my whole life but one was leaking and didn't need the expensive one for infrequent retirement use. it's not, it's terrible and probably unsafe.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great gauge and great price

This gauge is heavy, durable and seems to be of very good quality especially for the price and works flawlessly for me. I was in dire need of a pressure gauge to replace my pressure gauge that did not fit the MC acetylene cylinder. This pressure gauge is attached directly to the MC bottle and easily screwed onto my hose set. This item was delivered in less than 24 hours and I am very satisfied.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Fragile

Amazing Quality at an Affordable Price

The regulator is fairly quick and easy to set up. The screw used to screw into the tank is better than most. I haven't rounded the corner yet and changed it 3 times from 3 different times. The last ones I rounded the corners with during this time. The only issue I would say is that when you open the torch head the pressure drops significantly. I went back and set the correct psi after it was already working.

Pros
  • Gas Welders
Cons
  • New Competitors Have Appeared

Gauge to fit tank port

Gauges are a great addition to my gas forge, they allow me to see how much gas is flowing and fine tune it. The factory fitting is the same as the acetylene oxygen fitting (not left handed) but the same size as a custom size that will not fit standard hoses. The factory attachment came off without too much trouble and if I remember correctly the gauge is 1/4-20 and was easily replaced with one that attached to my hose from the local hardware store. Have fun measuring ;-)

Pros
  • Welding Equipment and Accessories
Cons
  • slightly wrinkled

Garbage. Garbage. Garbage. Garbage.

Garbage. It's just rubbish. Now when you absolutely need a propane regulator and only have $30. Buy 30 scrapers and hope for the best. Buy a real one from wherever you can get gas, glass, metal or whatever you use. A good one costs $100. No matter how much $70 costs you, I'm sure it's not worth breathing in propane, burning down your workshop, or at best having a flame jumping around because it can't decide how many psi it wants to put out. Fluent, yet unreliable, feels like a toy. Don't buy…

Pros
  • Welding and soldering
Cons
  • Drilling kit
