Perfect Fit - Cabin Air Filter

Easy to replace after watching videos online. I did the 2nd in a few years. So much cheaper than OEM from dealer. Works like the OEM version, replacement reminder included.

Pros
  • Well Made
Cons
  • High Price

Much cheaper to do it yourself

Changing the cabin air filter takes less than 15 minutes and costs about $25 to buy a filter. Our retailer costs $65.00! Thank goodness there is internet with videos and Revain for sale.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Very expensive

Easy installation, save money with dlr

Installation is easy and takes less than 5 minutes. My wife spent over $60 on this product with a dlr install in southern Oregon. This is the wrong plan and it doesn't take any time to install. Save money and do everything yourself.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Some little things

Arrived bent - easy to fix

This product arrived bent but I was able to stretch and pull in the opposite direction to straighten it. It's easy to install without tools, just search the video. The photo shows how dirty my old filter was (with a range of 35,000 km).

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • I'm worried

Not square like the ones you get from the dealer

This item needs to be perfectly square to fit a 2016 Outback 3.6. Since there is no mounting frame like other models, putting it as it is will not work. I was able to cut out some of the hard plastic to straighten it out, but that's not necessary for the replacement.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Angers

The Real Deal - Spare Parts

Sometimes you order a product that claims to be an OEM product and when you receive it you realize that this is not the case. WRONG with that. This filter is a genuine Subaru part and was identical to the original filter it replaced. I paid $18.50 for it a few days ago but just realized the price today is $19.88. I don't know why the price went up, but it's still reasonable compared to having it replaced at a Subaru dealership ($65!) or paying less and taking a risk with a lower brand.

Pros
  • Understandable even for the old
Cons
  • Doubt

Thanks! in spares

Not much to say about that. This is the same filter you can get from a Subaru dealer at a slightly reduced price. The exchange is pretty easy. Tutorials for your model and year should be available online. It only takes 10-15 minutes if you've never done it before. Probably 15-20 if you've never worked on a car before. Tools are not required. My old filter looked pretty dirty after a year. New clear and white. If you don't remember when you last changed your cabin air filter, put one in your…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
