Great price for a genuine part. Pretty easy to replace if you have some mechanical skills. If you happen to buy a car with a poor maintenance history like mine, this valve can replace a dirty, malfunctioning valve and get your engine running properly again.

This part replaced a faulty driver side exhaust solenoid valve on my 2010 STI after the car gave out engine check code P0024. Great price, almost $30 cheaper than the retailer, including shipping. The exchange takes no more than 20 minutes. Note that some residual oil will spill out when you pull this part.

This valve fitted perfectly and was in excellent condition when it arrived and well packaged to protect it. This solved my VVT issue where the driver's side couldn't keep up with the passenger side valve and was outputting CEL and the cruise control light was flashing. Something so important to the engine and variable valve timing that I didn't want to leave it to chance by getting a fake.
