Installed as a hob in our little cabin. Works great and looks way better than the options we've seen on the counter. Installation on our LP system was easy.

First impression: very cheaply made! I started collecting parts and found that they don't even fit together. The burners themselves are too high and prevent the grills from seating properly, creating an uneven and dangerous surface.

Defective item. This was intended to be a replacement for an existing 2937 hob that failed. Turned on but no gas pressure. Contacted Suburban twice via email and contact page for suggestions and they have not responded. Let's go back to Amazon.

Grilles will not stay in place and will be very wobbly. The burners are set too high and as soon as the top plate is screwed in, the grates pop out. After reading more reviews, it turned out that this is a common problem. This could probably be corrected by using shims and tape to raise the top plate 1/8 inch, but the poor construction makes me wonder if other corners have been clipped.

Good cooker. however, there are two disadvantages. Hose inlet #1 connects directly below the torch, which can melt the hose and cause catastrophic results. This is a serious security vulnerability. I've wrapped my hose in thermal tape and so far it's working perfectly. #2 Two handles are very high above the oven, about two inches! But if you have a Dremel or a small cutting tool, this is an easy fix. Just measure the gap and cut a little. The rest of the oven looks and works well.

I see some bad reviews. Mine works great. The plastic clips didn't fit either. So you may need to add your own. You also need a hose and I bought a heat shield for the hose but I doubt it's really needed. The only other thing that might be tight was that I had a wooden counter so it wasn't too bad but there are holes for the gas hose on the side that don't go down deep enough so I had to do a corner cut Make the bottom of the oven to let the hose through, as well as small cutouts on the sides…

Just bought my fifth Suburban cooktop. Some might wonder why I keep coming back to this hob if I don't like it, and that's a good question. The answer is simple: where else should I go? There's only one other manufacturer and their products are just as bad, which is why there are Atwood fans. Atwood has a feature that Coleman left out, burners with different BTU values, but that feature will cost you a few bucks more. If it matters to you go to Atwood, if not then buy this cheap, poorly…
