The thing is very cute. Definitely worth $30. In the reviews I was asked for the remote control but there is none. I glued the pieces where I wanted them.

They had a great idea but the quality and finish was terrible. The candles were different colors and two were damaged. Artificial snow continued to fall. I went back and bought another one hoping it was an accident but it wasn't.

These candles are very nice. They make a little mess on the outside when attaching the cover and then fall all over the place when you remove the plastic cover. Mine arrived with a piece of bark from a wooden stand. I hid it behind. They have 6 hour timers so mine turns on at 5pm and auto off at 11pm, they have realistic flame movement. I'm really excited about this set. My living room lights up every night now. Such a cozy, clean look

I compared several products and chose this one. I completely missed the fact that the product name says "candied". Boy is it ever! The candles and tree rim are covered in these sugar-like crystals. I opened the box and the sugar was everywhere. I immediately put them all in the bin to scrape off as much of the sugar as possible. If it was a stationary center section, it wouldn't be so bad. This is a very attractive set that adds a nice festive spirit without being overbearing. Each candle has a timer on/off button at the bottom. The timer is spot on: on for 6 hours, then off for 18, but it's been six hours since I turned it on, so I set an alarm to remind me to turn it on when the sun goes down.
