Great product. Works as stated. Also as said. Instructions were limited and useless. I have a heavy chest and built it up as the instructions say, using the picture for reference. My lid slowly started to close, but then slammed half shut. Now I will share with you what I found. If the lid is heavy you will need to move the round hinge closer to the back of the chest at reduced speed and move the link arm as high on the lid as possible (when the lid is open.
