Love Sulky in Thread & Floss

This thread has become my favorite! I do quilting, embroidery and sewing in general. The price matches the quality and won't tear with a free stitch.

Pros
  • Fits Many
Cons
  • Some Difficulty

Salki makes a good thread! Choose trusted brands.

don't whine! Salki makes a great thread. I'm gradually replacing all of my embroidery gear with Sulky (to make planning and execution easier). Stay away from cheap yarn boxes. Stick with Sulky or other well-known quality brands.

Pros
  • thread and floss
Cons
  • disappear

Frustration while sewing

I have been sewing at Sulky for a long time, I know that the quality control of the products is declining. I've gotten at least 2 spools where the thread is so thin it breaks in places and this happens with both hand sewing and machine sewing. I'm a professional at what I do, so I know my subjects and I can say that Salki has changed something somewhere, sacrificing quality.

Pros
  • Handicrafts and sewing
Cons
  • There are other interesting possibilities.

Very weak thread, suitable for yarn and dental floss

Of all the threads I've tried on my sewing journey, I've never had a spool break as bad as this one. As soon as I put it on my machine and started a new project with it, it broke on the first stitch. I threaded, changed the needle and started again. He pushed a little further to break a few more times. I thought something was wrong with my sewing machine so I tried a different brand of thread and it worked fine. In a nutshell. this thread is garbage.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
