Fits FMQ with #100 needles

I have used this for free motion quilting on my sewing machine with great success. Just use a #100 needle. I love it so much I've just bought other colors.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Strong, high quality yarn

I like the smooth texture and strength of this yarn. She smoothly encased the thick corners of the quilted layers. It is also a true black color with no shades of other colors. A bit pricey but if quality is what you want it won't disappoint!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

It is very suitable for overlock roll stitching

It is very suitable for overlock roll stitching. I've made a few cloth napkins on the serger with the rolled edge and this 12W cotton thread has worked well. Cotton yarn should withstand high temperatures better than nylon wool yarn when ironing napkins. I just wish it came on bigger reels.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others
