Although you can't press the center console to open when it's installed, you can modify it, as I did, so that it still opens by pressing down when it's installed is. Using a dremel to cut out additional crescent shapes at the top of each side like in my photos solves the problem.

I always have a problem with my phone falling out of a crack when I'm charging it. When I do that it goes all the way to the bottom of the center console. This device adds storage space and prevents me from locating my phone if it falls into the crevice of the cell phone stand. It also hides all the cables for my TeslaCam etc.

This makes using the Tesla Model 3 center console much more convenient. It fits perfectly in the large front. I placed the sunglasses in a large section for easy access. The included mats are a nice addition. He leaves the light open so there is some light at night. If you have 3 buy a tray like this to upgrade that center console!

I was trying to find a tray organizer for model 3 as I hate digging deep to get my little things - sunglasses, keys, lip balm, Coins etc (could be a good place for the J1772 adapter but I keep it under the armrest). has been added to the "must see" list for owners.

So I didn't know I needed this item. A friend recommended the console organizer, so I decided to give it a try. Now that I have it, it's hard to believe I've ridden without it for so long. A great way to organize all your stuff in the center console. Before that, I had a growing pile of junk on the center console. Now it looks much cleaner and more professional. I got this for the performance of my model 3. It's very useful to organize small items in front of the center console loading area so they don't become a big mess under.
