Great sand! suitable for arcade and board games

I rarely play shuffleboard so I'm not a fan. At the same time it was great to play with this sand. It was easy to sprinkle the shuffleboard. One can was enough for about 4-5 games.

Good product - arcade and board games

We have a 9 foot board and also bought #6. Try using more than 6 but it is better , add a little 5. If you have a 9 foot board and only need one, go for 6. We like the slightly faster board option. (for the average player, the difference is small)

I think speed 6 might work better.

There was wet powder in the container and when I set it on the table for play my pucks didn't slide on the table. You stop halfway. I haven't ordered a new powder yet. I think speed 6 might work better.

Much slower than expected and requested

Bought a 9 foot table for our basement. The Sun-Glo website suggests #5 through #7 for tables 12ft through 9ft. #5 was much slower than the regular "sand" that came with the table. Also, as in the description, it is the POWDER table (yellow). I'm used to playing on tables where the wax is more like transparent beads. I tried to return an unopened jar and it's non-refundable.

-) Luckily the table we bought came with Sun-Glo Gold (#2 or 3 I think) because without knowing it I bought this one Sun-Glo #5, and as first time using this powder it wasn't a great experience. The washing machines stopped easily and sometimes picked up and piled up the powder. This powder was too slow for us and made our pucks so fickle that a shuffleboard table would have been the longest useless piece of furniture in our house. Then I chose Sun-Glo Gold and it was the difference between day
