My blender blades also failed after a few years of only occasional use. The blender still works, but I'm not going to spend $20 on new blenders for a $30 blender. Of course, I do not recommend this blender.

I love this mixer. I've had it for many many years now and it works great for mixing anything and everything. I recently had to replace it because it broke (my fault) and was happy to find a new one at a great price. I've noticed other reviewers say that the lowest speed is still too high, but I've never had this problem. I highly recommend it. Thanks very much!

Received this product as a gift instead of a Kitchenaid blender. Of course my expectations were different as this was clearly not a Kitchenade. Having had this product for 3 years I have to say that the durability is excellent. It works exactly as I took it out of the box. In other words, it shouldn't be called anything other than "baby" as it will spill food everywhere and destroy anything it comes in contact with.
