I've waited years for these bulbs to become affordable. I paid over $30 each for these pears. It's awesome. Dimmable, triple lamp safe, turns on instantly. Update: I have these installed in my dimmer bulbs and one of my four hisses when I adjust the brightness. They all sizzle with other brands I've tried - so it's still a good lamp - just a bit disappointing.

I bought dimmable LED bulbs from another famous brand but they didn't dim evenly because you had to turn the dimmer to half before they suddenly lit up and then you could turn it down again, you wanted them to be darker. They work almost as well as incandescent bulbs as far as dimmers go. the smallest details while working indoors at night. The color temperature is warm enough not to feel clinical, but cool enough not to make your room look too orange.

I bought these to open a handyman garage door. After installing them I turned them on and thought the light output was mediocre but better than the old CCFLs that were there. When I left the house for the first time, I found that I could not close the door with any remote control. I found that the remotes would work when the lights were off but not when they were on.
