Regarding the respective crucibles: Despite the short and impractical instructions, they can also be installed relatively easily in the respective crucible. Just installed 8 of these in the new improved Sunco 4 inch jars in my bedroom. The jars went in relatively easily and the bulbs/light engines are great for the most part. The finish is nice, solid metal with a smooth surface finish, clean color and the spring clips are enough to hold the pad very firmly in the jar (if it wants to sag a bit, lift it up and rotate it maybe 15 degrees in both directions, it should "bite" and hold).
