Lamps crackle

The brightness of the lamps was good but every time we turned them on they made a loud popping noise. We were afraid they would burst and/or damage our wiring. We thought they were dangerous. I notified the seller and he was willing to fix the problem, but I would have to pay to return them and he would replace them with the same or similar bulbs. I lost faith in the Sunco brand so I didn't want a replacement. I removed all the bulbs and am throwing away a box of 12 for a $40 loss. Had to buy…

With LED bulbs, buy a light level that is one level warmer than what you are used to.

Installed 10 LED bulbs all running for a week except one which died after the first day. It is important to understand LED lamps and the level of light temperature correctly: LED light is "harder" than normal incandescent light. I ordered 3000K bulbs and they are a bit brighter than I expected. Those who prefer soft yellowish light should order 2700K bulbs. Do not buy! They last 4% or less than their advertised lifespan!

Product is rated for 22.8 years (365 days a year) when used 3 hours a day. That's about 25,000 hours. Interestingly, the warranty is only 3 years, which mathematically means the bulbs have to work 24/7/365 to reach the promised 25,000 hour lifespan. However, we then set up November 20, 2017. That was about 19 months ago. We run them a lot more than 3 hours a day. Let's say we use them 15 hours a day (which is slightly more than the actual amount, so a conservative usage estimate) for 19 months…
