Review on 🌞 Sunco Lighting Dimmable Daylight LED Bulb - Best Equivalent for Bright Illumination by Felicia Gonzalez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Do not buy! They last 4% or less than their advertised lifespan!

Product is rated for 22.8 years (365 days a year) when used 3 hours a day. That's about 25,000 hours. Interestingly, the warranty is only 3 years, which mathematically means the bulbs have to work 24/7/365 to reach the promised 25,000 hour lifespan. However, we then set up November 20, 2017. That was about 19 months ago. We run them a lot more than 3 hours a day. Let's say we use them 15 hours a day (which is slightly more than the actual amount, so a conservative usage estimate) for 19 months (using 30 days a month) which is 8550 hours and 2 out of 12 lightbulbs fail. Work. and the third is flickering, meaning he'll die in a few days, or weeks at most. Thus, 1/3 of light bulbs fail within 1/3 of their predicted lifespan. NOT A GOOD DEAL. Let's see whether or not Sunco actually honors its warranty, or how difficult it is to make a valid claim! I gave it a lousy longevity rating because they die too soon. I gave it a crappy energy efficiency rating because while they use less power if they die too soon, there's no "savings". They are bright as advertised. Update. It is not 9/9/19 now and 6 bulbs have burned out (6 out of 12 bulbs). I have never applied for a guarantee. However, we still have a warranty period, so I'm not making a claim now.
