This dusk sensor lamp is perfect for illuminating my American flag. I use a Lowe outdoor light which holds the bulb very well. It has a pointed base that simply sticks into the ground. They are very bright. I have daylight and can see beyond my property because of the brightness. You can see clearly at night. I have them all over my garden. The sensor saved me from setting the timer. Another light cannot shine too close to them as they turn off including other sensors.
