This hat is cooler/sweatier for my kids than other brands we've tried. The bucket style provides plenty of shade. I have size M for 2.5 and 4.5 years. Perfect fit for a 2.5 year old with plenty of room to grow but the medium size hat is already too tight on my 4 year old's head. He is in the 80th percentile for his age in head size. Very good quality and my son will actually wear it without tearing it off right away! Good thing it has an adjustable hat band so we can order a little more and the hat grows with it. I like that the brim is strong and not saggy like most other sun hats. It is also good that there is ventilation. Definitely worth your money!

I love these hats. I bought my son a few years ago and he still uses it every day. When my daughter was born I found this and it's wonderful! The edge does not wobble and thus provides some shade from the sun. In addition, the wide brim protects against too much sun. I have purchased 3 different hats from Revain as most of the items are difficult to size. My son is 18 months old and has a 19.1 inch head. I chose a child size which corresponds to a head circumference of 20.5 inches. There is a drawstring cord on the inside of the hat and I stretched it as far as I could. It was perfect for all holidays. He left it on and played without caring. I'm excited because it will definitely fit this summer and maybe next year.
