They don't breathe as well as I would like and the ventilation mesh keeps feet cold in winter. But they are comfortable and stay in place. I wanted a natural fiber that would keep my feet dry. It wasn't perfect, but still better than cotton. And they feel like quality socks. I've spent hours walking with them and washing them multiple times. they hold up well.
