Description of 🌿 SunGrow Mini Catappa Leaves for Betta Aquariums: pH-Lowering & Stress-Reducing Aid for Fish, Shrimp, and Frogs | Native Habitat Creation | Unique, Practical Decoration | Pack of 50 Pieces

✓IDEAL FOR ENCOURAGING BETTA NEST CREATION - Siamese fighting fish love to build bubble nests under these leaves and with the many beneficial properties of these leaves, your fish will be more apt to breed successfully. Guppies, mollies, and other live breeders will appreciate having catappa leaves in their habitat, too. Catappa leaves also help Betta in laying eggs. ✓THIS MINI LEAF HAS YOUR BACK - The catappa leaf, or Indian Almond leaf, contains the same beneficial ingredient found in grapes which lowers your aquarium water’s pH. How do you unlock this superpower? Just drop the leaves into your tank. That’s it! Your fishes’ water is conditioned, the pH is lowered, and you can relax and take care of more important things. ✓MAKE YOUR AQUARIUM MORE LIKE THEIR OWN HOME - Your pets are happiest when their aquarium or vivarium is more like their native habitat. Indian Almond leaves make great litter for frogs and snakes. They add an intriguing brownish tint to water which relieves stress in betta, cichlids, and shy fishes. ✓THE SILENT GUARDIAN - This aquarium must-have item is rich in flavonoids, and they condition the water. Adding these beautiful and practical leaves is like adding a sentry to guard your catfish, tetras, gouramis, and African frogs. ✓EVERYONE WILL WANT TO KNOW - One-of-a-kind, everyone who sees your aquarium will be enthralled with it. Make your aquarium a conversation piece and present your bettas and snails in their best habitat.

Like Magic - Aquarium Water Treatment

Beta went from sluggish to vigorous in less than 24 hours. In 20 years of keeping reef aquariums and fish I have never seen anything act so quickly to make a difference.

Beautiful bubble Best by Betta

Good size for a Betta aquarium. Although I'm not sure what it actually adds to the aquarium. New rating: Great, my cock made a bubble nest! After you add them

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Expensive

Satisfied. Happy Betta and Shrimp

Gives your aquarium a beautiful "forest" organic look. 2-3 leaves will last about 2-3 months, you can let them fully decompose or take them out and add/refresh more.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Working Speed

Great addition to aquarium water purification

My betta and shrimp LOVE these leaves. I keep about ten of these in one section of the tank and I can always find shrimp hiding under the leaves. They'll float to the top for a while if you don't cook them first, but eventually they'll sink to the bottom.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Quality

Success or failure of aquarium water treatment

The first sachet I received was good. Second, the leaves are more twisted and don't float as long. It definitely won't take that long because I keep floating a few and they sink within a day instead of the usual 3-4 days. Maybe I just have a bad batch, so let's see how the third bag fares when it comes to auto-delivery.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Tolerance

Great value for money

I got a good amount of leaves for the price paid. They will make your tank water the color of tea, but I don't mind that at all. I bought these to try and lower my tank's GH but I don't think they last long enough. I've read that it will take some time for that to change. Although my PH was good and stable. These leaves look great in an aquarium. My brown cats love them.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Satisfied! And my bettas too!

They seem safe for my aquariums. My bettas don't seem to mind. They release beautiful tannins. For a packet of dried leaves, they seem a bit pricey. All sheets appeared clean and had minimal damage. As these are dried leaves they can be a bit brittle but it was nice that most were whole and not shredded. I am satisfied with the products of this company. I bought about 5 different bags. I noticed that they have several different labels for the same type of product (small catappa leaves) but…

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
