good replacement for Lunera lightbulb

I installed this lightbulb to replace a 3 year old Lunera lightbulb in my bathroom. Of course, the Lunera didn't last as advertised, but unfortunately the company went broke, so it's probably not worth claiming any sort of warranty coverage. Luckily, this bulb was about $3 more expensive than the old bulb. Remember they use legacy ballast and don't need to be converted so it's really plug and play. For 1000 lumens at 9 watts they seem to be on par with my old Lunera bulbs which ran 900 lumens…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Worked great! Excellent replacement for fluorescent

This LED replacement for the hated fluorescent rule! They fit perfectly in small jars on the bathroom ceiling and turn on instantly with no warm-up time. The color temperature of 3500K is excellent, but not cold. Bright but not garish and as we get older (or maybe just get used to higher color temperatures) the 2700k light is now looking too yellow and I'm aiming for 3000k now. But in the bathroom, those 3500,000 look great. (By comparison, we can't stand 4000,000 flashlights and gave them…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style

Good alternative to CFLs without bypass ballast

I love that this lamp is a good LED alternative to the CFLs the manufacturer uses in our house. I particularly liked that I don't have to bypass the ballast for this lamp, so it's really a plug and play replacement lamp. The lamp gives a good, bright light and becomes bright immediately; Doesn't get hot like CFL bulbs. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because while the product itself is great the price is a bit high compared to a CFL bulb assuming you can find a CFL with the same color temperature…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
