Handy Item: Pulley Tools

I used this tool to change the timing belt on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma. What could have been a nightmare became child's play.

Great tool at a great price

This is a great tool for 5vzfe. If you do not tighten the crank bolt to specification, it will eventually loosen and cause timing problems and crankshaft gear wear.

Works Great - Tools & Equipment

When I bought this I didn't think about how to keep it in place without bolting it to the crankshaft pulley. I thought that might be a problem, luckily it's not. Once it was in place with my break and tension, it didn't move and I was able to pull out 217 pounds per second of torque. It sagged with no tension to keep it in place.

RELIABLE, WELL BUILT - Pulley Tool

In the end I started with a kick to loosen the CS screw. But this instrument is heavy and the finish looks nice. Just make sure you have enough upper body strength as this bolt is not easy to get out. I wanted to add that it's not the tool's fault that I ended up making the push. As I said, this is a solid tool, I will definitely refer to this first for tightening CS bolts, only the one I got it for requires 400 ft/lbs of torque applied. But the tool itself is well made and durable. Also, thisโ€ฆ
