When I first bought this product I tried using it every night but found that it worked for my 3b/3c hair was too heavy. So I used it as a pre poo and I love it! I immediately noticed that my hair became stronger and shinier. I gave it 4 stars because it didn't do what I expected, but it still works wonders as a pre-meal remedy. As for hair growth, I can't say, but it's definitely part of my routine!

If you're looking for lavender scented JBC oil, Jamaican Mango and Lime have it. I thought it would be a cheaper alternative. While my locs appreciate it, I don't appreciate the smell. There is absolutely nothing in it that smells like lavender. It's nice and thick like Original Sunny Isle JBC Oil and works just as well as Original Sunny Isle JBC Oil. However, it tastes the same as JBC oil and I don't like it. I'm going back to Jamaican mango and lime.

I received this product in good time as I was told it would arrive. My hair is very dry so it makes a great hot oil treatment. I love that this castor oil is a very heavy oil. It keeps my hair moisturized. I noticed my hair was thinning and originally purchased this product to help my hair grow and thicken as advertised. I am disappointed that my hair is not thicker than it was before using this product for a year. However, I no longer had hair loss. I will likely continue to use this hot oil…
