I love this fan! I wanted something small with an ionizer and white noise. This fan says it's silent and when I read the reviews the most negative ones were that it wasn't. It sold me! It's not remotely quiet, which works really well for me.

I love this little fan. Have perfect airflow in your bedroom at night and just the right amount of sound to sleep with. I don't know why they called it silent since anything with an engine will have noise. It's a very smooth sound and not that noticeable at all. If you don't want sound then AC should probably be used.

Good compact fan, but this fan is larger than 7″, looks more like 11″, provides good airflow for a box of this size . The manual doesn't mention anything about the ionizer, which makes sense because the ionizer doesn't do anything, you won't notice any fresh flow or any change, it just doesn't do anything. This is a good little personal fan. Very quiet (for a fan). There are adjustable speeds, although I keep it at the highest speed. I do this because the air outlet range is not very far. It works for me because I keep it on my bedside table so I can get the full cooling effect right in my space. The small size is perfect for this.
