SUNWAYFOTO DYH 90Ri DYH90Ri Leveling Rotation Review

Leveling clamp screw not as shown (protruding a few inches from the housing) and too tight in use. It takes an incredible amount of strength and at some point I suspect that the nylon handle will break.

Very strong, stable, smooth tripod leveler for large tripod legs. I was impressed with the quality and material used. The large yellow fluorescent bubble indicator is one of the great features. The 18 degree adjustment is more than many other levelers I've seen. I like it, I look great too.

I bought this horizontal panorama plate to use with a Wimberley WH-200 gimbal head for two functions: (1) protractor; and (2) an easier way to level the camera than adjusting the length of the tripod legs. That works great. Adjustment is smooth for both level and rotation, and very solid when locked.

I already had the SUNWAYFOTO DYH-90 version without the upper swivel arm. I use it to align the pan rotary head. It's very useful to get a level platform without messing around with the tripod to get the perfect level. I purchased this swivel plate version for use with the iOptron SkyGuider Pro. Difficult to find another product with a 90mm worktop. Both versions work great.

Solid unit with smooth panning. I needed a way to pan and maintain a perfect level for use with a dot laser level. I bought a Manfrotto 500AH for video purposes but figured it would work with a laser level but didn't keep level when panning. DYH-90Ri holds the level and works great! Pretty surprised I'm the first to write a review. haha First of all I love this case. The build quality is amazing. In the hands like a tank. Really all metal. Considering it's all metal, it's pretty heavy. I've had this thing for over a year and a half and am considering getting a second one. Used primarily with a top mounted slider.
