Unexpected quality, good for camera and photo

Pretty surprised I'm the first to write a review. haha First of all I love this case. The build quality is amazing. In the hands like a tank. Really all metal. Considering it's all metal, it's pretty heavy. I've had this thing for over a year and a half and am considering getting a second one. Used primarily with a top mounted slider. I've never liked putting a slider on a liquid head because it doesn't support the weight I want. And I shouldn't have spent $500 on a compact and durable video tripod, so I took a chance and it paid off. I installed the 5DIII with battery grip on a Manfrotto 502 video head on a slider through a Manfrotto QR plate and it's holding up very well. You need a study tripod to work with my rig, but the thing is, it holds up very well! PROS: - build quality is amazing - holds a lot of weight - glad it has 1/4" threads on top and 3/8" threads on bottom (versatility) - panning is really smooth (smooth) - hell, everything moves smoothly - when locked, it is blocked CONS: - heavy - most of the time it is difficult to see the level of bubbles (it is detachable) - long screws in the lower bracket do not fit! If the screw is too long, it will scratch when being adjusted and will not engage! I was able to adjust the length of the screw at the end of the tripod. The packaging happened to be surprisingly professional. Ha
