LOVE IT! i choose her

I have a few Buddiesman heads that are all broken with no return or support. So when I was looking for an alternative, I found these and they are the right ones. Love her in every way!

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • No paint required

Great for such a small device

VERY small ball head but looks well built and holds a lot of weight. Matches my 6D at 70-200 f/2.8 but I doubt it can handle much more. Ideal addition to a small tripod for travel or hiking.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Periodicity

For sale at the right price!

Simple, comfortable and light enough for hiking. I do a lot of vlogging in the outdoor industry and needed something to get my loaded camera and cage out of the way. That was it. I have it connected to my GrillaPod and use it almost every time I vlog.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

It takes too many turns of the handle to tighten this ball head.

So I absolutely wanted this ball head to be liked, to be of high quality and also to look great. The problem is that it takes 1 1/2 turns of the handle and then a few more to fully tighten the ball head. The socket release knob also requires a high number of turns to tighten. It's distracting and time consuming, I prefer taking photos. Too bad.

Pros
  • Useful not only for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Many things

Nice tripod head until the spring on the handle came loose

I used this on a platypus, small size, bow clamp all worked fine. I've had it for about a year and one day the spring loaded handle fell off, it looks like it's a metal screw in plastic and it just fell off. The spring must have come loose because I never found it. $40 was a good price for a good quality small head, but not if I have to replace it annually.

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • too blunt

Robust small tripod head for big tasks!

Needed a sturdy tripod head to work with the Feisol TT-15 tripod for desktop and macro photography, and also strong enough to hold my Pentax K-1 camera. The Sunway Photo XB-28 came in handy. The Sunway runs smoothly and is more than capable of supporting the weight of the camera. The XB-28 looks like it was specially designed for the Feisol TT-15. This is a truly dynamic duo. I can absolutely recommend the SunwayFoto XB-28.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Weight

I found my solution to hiking!

I bought this ball head to pair with Induro CT014 legs as a hiking tripod. I will not use it with a big and heavy camera and lens (like my Sony A7Rii + 70-200mm lens) but with a smarter camera (Sony A6300 + 16-70mm lens). lightweight, very compact and has excellent holding power when properly tightened. Panning is smooth and overall everything works easily, especially considering the modest price point. Overall VERY happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Includes negative

Light enough to easily toss in a bag or leave on a small tripod/monopod. Fairly firm to the touch, but the movement is sticky in both pan and ball - the pivoting in particular has an almost gritty feel to it, as if the parts weren't cleaned well before assembly at the factory. That's to be expected from such a cheap head. Avoid this if you have any size DSLR or larger tripod mounting points - the grips are small and very close to the body of the head. Fumbling with the plate or ball lock is…

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Not all fit
