Description of Supco IAQ50 CO2 Carbon Dioxide Meter Indoor Air Quality Monitor with Temperature, Humidity, Dew Point, and Wet Bulb - Desktop or Wall Mount

INDOOR AIR QUALITY METER - The CO2 meter measures Carbon Dioxide levels, Temperature and Humidity with Dew Point and Wet Bulb. Use for continuous monitoring of residential, and professional environments, such as warehouses, restaurants, garages, and greenhouses. VISIBLE AUDIO CO2 ALARM - The CO2 monitor comes with a programmable, visible audio alarm (80db) to alert you to high levels of Carbon Dioxide. The beep can be manually stopped, but automatically stops when the CO2 reading falls below the lower limit. USE ON WALL OR DESKTOP - The IAQ meter is super portable so you can bring it all around your home or workspace to test the air quality. It can be easily mounted on the wall or placed on a desktop. LARGE LCD DISPLAY - The CO2 detector takes 30 seconds to warm up and has a large, triple function LCD display, so you can clearly see exactly what is going on with the air around you. NON-DISPERSIVE INFRARED SENSOR - The Supco IAQ50 CO2 Meter use a Non-Dispersive Infrared Sensor (NDIR). NDIR is one of the most popular forms of CO2 sensing technology available.

Informative, unobtrusive sensor

I was concerned about CO2 levels in my basement office. Levels turn out to be okay, but there are some fluctuations. 400ppm with the windows open indoors, about 950ppm max with the windows closed and I'm running. In the darkness I noticed that from time to time the inner light shines. I don't know how to determine CO2 or relative humidity. It does not bother me. A very useful, unobtrusive device.

Pros
  • Great design

Here's the little gem.

Excellent quality, works perfectly and is easy to use. Instructions are not required. I've been using it in my garden for 5 months now and haven't had any problems. I enrich my garden with CO2 from the normal 350ppm to around 1200ppm. Sometimes I treat pests with CO2 and this unit has an alarm that can be set from 0 to 9999ppm. I open the carbon dioxide bottle and walk out the door. I only come back after the alarm goes off (I set the alarm to 5000ppm and the alarm goes off when it goes below…

  • Try for a year

Very Sensitive Best of Moisture Meter

I bought this unit because I installed an unvented gas heater in my basement to heat my office. The CO2 meter came a few days before the plumber came to connect the heater, so I connected it to get an idea of the baseline CO2 levels without this new heater. Of course, humans exhale carbon dioxide. The meter is about 5 feet from my body at 9 o'clock when I'm at my desk at 12 o'clock. When I sat down, the counter read 451 parts per million. After about an hour it showed 568ppm just because of my…

Excellent goods. Examples I've found

Very fast CO2 tracking. Excellent goods. Examples I've found: As soon as you walk into a room with a monitor, the levels start to increase with your own breathing. If you want to get unpolluted data on the basic ventilation of the room, you need to install the sensor in an unoccupied room and leave the room IMMEDIATELY, preferably closing the door behind you, wait a few minutes and then re-enter the room. and check the reading just before it starts to rise. I found my breath to raise my home…
