My son usually wears a size 11 so I ordered a size 12 for growing and I'm glad I did because he loves these shoes! He says they're comfortable and so far they're holding up well considering he's been wearing them every day for a month in all weathers. He has a hard time putting them on by himself, but that's understandable since they're high-top sneakers. I would not recommend these if you want your child to be shoe independent.

When school just started I just measured my son's shoes and it was size 1. I ordered them size 1. Other shoes are made. I did give them a chance though as my son loves the boys Mario and Luigi as we came home from school and tried unsuccessfully to put the shoes on. I was forced to return this item and go to the local shoe store to select the size 1 shoes in the sketches that fit me. I don't know why they are so small and if you are looking for something thick and durable this isn't a shoe that

Bought these to replace Super Mario velcro shoes (also available on Amazon) which our dog ate. My son really liked these online so I ordered them.
