Warning, it's fiberglass!

The wrap covered my generator's flexible exhaust pipe and it seemed to work well, but I didn't realize that when I wrapped the pipe I was covered in tiny bits of fiberglass, which made me itchy and felt like I'd been using for days trimmed with pins. I had to throw away the shirt I was wearing. The instructions say to wet the packaging first, but because flexible tubing is so prone to rusting, I skipped that step. To your discomfort!

Looks good!: Spare parts

Attached to the motorcycle's exhaust pipe because it was visible and also near the pedals, hoping to improve the appearance and the temperature near my foot too to reduce. Both cut heat and look great. A little tricky to assemble on long pipes and gloves must be worn as paint bleeds when wet. Let it soak in the water for a little bit and disconnect before trying to install. These are my only installation notes. I didn't have a stainless steel tie tool so I just used needle nose pliers and it…

The manifold tube temperature drops more than 100°F.

I used this to wrap my headers on my 302 SBF to keep the underhood temps down and to help with the vapor lock issue. Using the method of laying each wrap in half allowed me to use a 50 foot roll per side. The header pipe temperature dropped from 530F+ to about 420F a few inches from the head. Although I've seen other people say they need to wear gloves after soaking the packaging, I haven't had any issues with gradients. However, I got very itchy from handling it. So if you're having trouble…

Waste of money in my case.

This material looks like a well-known brand material. You must wear gloves etc. I have used many different bandages in the past and this material is at the bottom of my list. I wrapped my headers and sprayed them with the appropriate silicone sealant spray. Links work as they should. I started the car to cure the foils and silicone. The smoke show continued as usual. After several heating cycles, I let the machine run for about 10 minutes. Because I also did other things that required me to be…
