Hello 04/18/2017 A little disappointed. I think it will work much better on larger applications, but since I've tried it on smaller applications - around 0.5 X1. about an inch, or maybe I wanted to quickly go around the corners of the petals because it was getting a little loose. But I'll definitely try again because it's definitely faster. Best regards, Rene

keeps the edge of my handmade canvas from blooming

just used for the first time. I weave my own fabric and use this thread to weave the first few rows at the beginning and end of weaving. When I take the fabric off the loom, I simply iron the fusible thread (between two sheets of parchment paper so the iron doesn't stick to the thread) which melts the thread. This gives my fabric a secure edge that prevents it from tangling. It also gives my hem a little more support when tucked under the hem.

Works like magic

Charlotte's Fusible Web works great. I pinned one side to a flannel blanket and zigzag stitched the seam allowance with the gauzy thread on the spool. Then I turn the insert over and press the folded edge down. The gauzy thread stuck to the wrong side of my binding, allowing me to sew on the right side or in the ditch if I positioned the wrong side correctly, and I was able to sew without using pins.
