Support Compatible Vacuums Compare XFFLZ600 XHFFC600 Review

After buying another Shark my first purchase for the LZ600 was 2 more foam filters. Filters can be washed and reused, but MUST be completely dry before installation. Clean foam filters make a HUGE difference in suction, so I switch to clean foam filters after every other use. Cleaning is easy. Rinse in sink and add a few drops of Dawn dish soap, wash and rinse with warm water until clean. OR throw it in the washing machine with dirty clothes.

Very disappointed with this product. At first glance, it is identical to the regular filter, but after installing it, it became clear that it has one major drawback. The OEM filter must be installed in a location where it will remain secure until removed. This filter is currently exposed in the chamber. I tried both to make sure it wasn't a defect in the first one I installed. I can't imagine this product will be as effective as it cannot be protected properly. Needless to say I will be back…

They look a lot like a brand name that I almost paid for (I hate paying full price for everything). I noticed that the round plastic mold that attaches to the bottom of the foam filter is only a millimeter smaller than the one that came with the original filter. Not a big deal, but it does mean the filter just sits at the bottom of the mount instead of getting stuck there with no air gap. I've vacuumed a lot since getting these replacement parts and I can't tell the difference in performance…
