These racks are very easy to install. Removing the original supports took some effort. Now I can actually use the sunroof!

Extended length approximately 1" longer than OEM part and shackle may interfere with pipe. You may need to install in reverse order for it to fit.

a very good product but I think maybe it is too good it has become much more difficult to close the hatch. maybe it will get easier with time but until then it's 4 stars for it

Installation was very easy and only took a few minutes. The sunroof actually raises itself when the latch is released. My wife can't remember it opening that easily when new and with the replacement brace we installed about 10 years ago (it was a lot more expensive then). At this price I don't mind changing every 5 years as recommended.

The old ones didn't have a lift so they're great. Here are a few things I learned during the installation: The body bolts for the mounting brackets are 10mm and the dome bolts for the sunroof bolts are 12mm. I used a snow shovel to prop them up when replacing them and they fit perfectly. The 12mm bolts wear and begin to round. I ended up using my grinder to cut the pear part (it's inserted into the old shock end) off the stud part. To remove them I had to use a 12mm socket and a percussion gun.
