Bought this to change cowboy hats for a hen party. I was impressed that you can get a gun and glue sticks for such a great price! Using a gun, I hot glued 6 sequined elastics to the base of the woven hats. It worked like a charm. Within 2-3 seconds of attaching the end of the band to the hat, I was able to pull the band all the way around the base. This is a reasonably good glue gun. I tried it on low settings and was able to attach straws to cardboard for a science fair project. A slightly flimsy stand (about the size of a butterfly paperclip) is included to hold the gun upright when it's docked. Although it looked flimsy, the tiny stand had no problem holding the glue gun.
