The perfect glue gun for small projects!

I love my new hot glue gun! I used to have surebonder glue guns and they made even more with this one. It's really light but still feels very durable and I love the auto shut off feature they added. Now I don't have to worry about the kids or the house anymore! I would definitely recommend it to anyone doing small crafts or detail work.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Weight

Favorite Glue Gun: Craft Glue Guns & Sticks

This is my favorite glue gun. I think this is a great glue gun for the money. I like that the tip is sharper than other guns I've used. The stand is useful for keeping it upright, although it can sometimes get in the way when pulling the trigger. It heats up fairly quickly, maybe 45 seconds to a minute. The only thing I would like are the on/off buttons and not just plugs to turn on.

Pros
  • old people friendly
Cons
  • unfashionable

Glue stays on

My initial review was that I was happy with the glue gun and had no problems. Now that I've used it more often, like others, I've found that the glue stays in the barrel until the glue stick stops moving. I have to use my needle nose pliers to dig it out. I thought these were my glue sticks so I bought Surebonder glue sticks and this still happens. Bad design. I know a lot of DIYers rave about the Surebonder on YouTube, but I'm not happy with this particular model.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Doubtful

Too light for me

This is a good glue gun that gets the job done, but personally I wish I had a gun this size and light weight to do this to do . It's too easy to knock over and sometimes it falls off when I put it down when I'm not looking. Another problem I have with almost all glue guns is the power cord. Do these manufacturers think we sit next to an outlet and do all our crafts/projects? I use an extension cord on my craft table, but I still have to work closer than I would like due to the short cord. This…

Pros
  • Convenient dual temperature setting for gluing multiple surfaces
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Hot glue guns and small children. It REALLY is possible!

So the hot glue gun experiment and my kids (5 and 7 years old, boy and girl) worked today. We had a "Safety First" discussion, followed by an exercise on cardboard where I asked them to draw squiggles and straight lines. We then did the basic assembly of the wooden popsicle and then added the decorations to the popsicle creations. It's a great size for small hands and I love that it has a high/low setting as well as an auto shut off feature after 30 minutes of inactivity. I highly recommend…

Pros
  • 20 W power for fast heating and even glue flow
Cons
  • boring packaging

Hands off - great at first!

I'm taking this one down from 5 stars to 1. I bought it almost exactly a year ago. I use a good quality glue stick. Someone else showed a photo of one where the glue had set in the hole between the front and back and I'm having the same problem. I had trouble getting the glue out at all. It's going crazy now. (From constipation to diarrhea!) I had to push it through with a sticking out piece. I squeezed the trigger so that it clicked past the point where it should have stopped. It was terribly…
