Very impressed with the quality of these lights. The lamps are bright and easy to use. Unlike others who mention "beam angle" (meaning the beam of light exits at an angle from one side), these lights are bright and visible 360 degrees around the rope. Also impressed with this seller who answered all my questions quickly. Overall a very good experience and I am happy with this purchase.

Bought a 150 foot white rope lantern. I plugged it into a dimmer socket, it seems to glow normally. However, when you turned off the light, they were still on and glowing a little. So if I want to dim them a little, I need two switches. One is for physically switching power on and off and the second is a dimmer. Without a dimmer they are too bright if you want to use them for under eave lighting.

Very flexible + Easy to work with + If two lighting cords are needed = Attach power cord to visible end then unroll to scissor mark closest to desired length then wrap cut off the remaining rope to gain access to the end with the power cord connector and install another power cord and measure the required length from this to the nearest scissors mark near the original intersection and cut = 2 lengths as needed and most likely one remaining a useless piece cut off at each end.
