As a hesitant buyer, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this surveillance digital recorder. Electronics have never been my strong suit, but this device was easy to set up and operate. As my tests showed, it records in full HD and provides clear, crisp images. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a manual, but customer support was quick to provide one. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone in need of reliable security and surveillance equipment.

This is an easy to use DVR. I don't need access to my router to enable remote viewing like some old style dash cams. Instead, I enabled remote access via Plug & Play Platform Access in the network settings. Also this DVR works with my old cameras from the broken Swann kit.

I just finished installing this unit and it was very easy. I had some questions and called the number listed and guess what, they answered. I called 3 times wanting confirmation and once I screwed up but every time I called they answered the phone, you know how important that is. The device is working great so far, still fiddling with some controls, but a very good device. I'm not interested in all of the device's offerings, it's just a home security monitor and I don't need to monitor it…
