I bought this brand in black to hide the gray hair along the hairline. Followed the instructions as on the package, lasted 60 minutes and then washed my hair. Nothing - not a single gray hair was painted over! I thought I'd take another photo the next day, but the same. Not a single hair was dyed when it would be easiest to paint over gray hair, especially black. So don't buy this brand. I'm allergic to PPD so I can't use regular hair dye. I use black and get no response. My hair is about 50% gray and it covers it well. Gray hair ends up looking dark brown and looks like highlights. I use half a bottle and save the rest to use after 6 weeks (I don't wash my hair every day - if you do this you may need to repeat this sooner). I am very happy that I found this product.
