Great tool!

This works a lot better for me than the cheap plastic gift that comes with most kits. I like how the handle feels in my hand and I think it makes tighter knots. Very happy with my purchase!

Doesn't work for me.

Warning! This tool only worked 25% of the time; the hook with the tab at the top pulled through 1 thread :-( when pulled through 2 threads the threads broke. It's junk. Bought the tool for $2 from Walmart and it works 100% better.

Breaks yarn and HUGE shipping cost even though it says free shipping!

Don't bother with this catch. It tears the thread every time we try to use it. I thought it might be the yarn, but that was the case with all the varieties we used. I tried another crochet hook with the same yarn and it worked fine. This was very frustrating as the company charged me $10.24 to ship a $4 item even though the website said free shipping. When I asked about it, they only replied that shipping to US military (APO/FPO/DPO) addresses is not free. Nowhere on the product description…
