Black 🔘 Suunto Core Standard Strap Review

The strap looks great and fits your Suunto watch perfectly when you finally put it on. However. The small part holding the extra length of the strap broke almost as soon as it arrived. I've since ordered 2 more and they all broke within 6 months. Maybe they need to reconsider their material in this part?

Getting two is the best for me! Straps last about 13 months, then they crack and snap! Good stuff but tiktok... it has a time limit and you don't want to lose your Suunto so replace it after 12 months or when you first notice a stress crack.

The product lasted about a year. August 2016 I bought this Suunto strap to replace my original one and it barely lasted 14 months. The sad thing is that I hardly ever wear a watch anymore. Absolutely not worth your money. It is NOT built to last. I am now trying third party products to see if they last longer.

The original lasted me a year and a few months. I bought these in April 2017, it is now February 2018 and the strap is still intact. There is obvious wear around the slot which I usually use but no rips. The black metal strap held up slightly better than the original in terms of scratches and discoloration. All in all a great replacement.

Husband has been wearing the same watch every day (to work) for over two years. The band had recently broken up and that was the best we could find about it. Visually, the band differs only in that it has two loops through which you thread the excess band instead of just one. (I think that's a positive thing. :)) The quality seems good and I'll update this review if a component fails in the future.

Bought this as a replacement as my original strap had a horizontal tear near the clasp. I had a replacement strap that had been used for less than six months and it broke near the buckle. I like the watch itself but these straps are rubbish and they don't offer any other type of strap. I wouldn't mind this watch or the strap, the watch is great but useless without a good strap to keep it on your wrist haha. At this point I would recommend another brand, I have changed 3 belts in less than 2…

These straps are not worth the price considering they only last a year before breaking. In the last 5 years I have bought several replacement straps for my Suunto and they break almost every year. Suunto really needs to come up with a better band. If you add up all the money I've spent changing straps, I could buy a brand new Suunto watch, which is absurd.

Like everyone else I bought these because the little piece that holds the strap breaks every year. Every year I have to buy a strap. This fitted perfectly and came with two strap holders. UPDATE: After using this strap for a while, the sleeves of the strap are constantly moving and not staying in place, forcing me to adjust them A LOT. Very annoying. The clasp is plastic and has no screws like my OEM. Obviously fake. Not like the picture they advertise.

Like a watch, this bracelet breaks every two years. The elastic snaps into place in the middle of the band. i love watches Not happy with the $50 revolving service fee for the group. For the price it should be significantly stronger.
