🔭 SVBONY 1.25-inch 90° Zenith Diagonal Mirror for Refractor and Cassegrain Telescopes – Astronomical Telescope Accessory Review

I like these diagonal. It works well. Bright and clear. Very light weight. Note that the thumbscrew doesn't snap into place, so be careful, I use it with my Televue Pronto.

Didn't fit. Looks like good quality but had to be returned. This process took a long time due to the seller. Finally got a loan from Revain.

Fits like the original. After many years, I decided to get my telescope back in order. I didn't think about it at the time, but I fixed it long enough to see Jupiter and Saturn. I could see the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn so it was a very rewarding project.

only complaints is that the picture is upside down. This is not a big problem for observing a celestial body, but annoying for ground-based observations. The picture is not as clear as my Celestron C90 Mak. Material with excellent value for money.

Failed to attach to my scope (I misunderstood the already existing scope mount size). Looking at the mirrors inside and the build quality, this offers a MUCH better field of view as well as a cleaner/clearer mirror inside. I can say this is a great upgrade over any base piece.

I think it's better than the 1 that came with my 70mm Tasco so I recommend it in part because it has a lifetime warranty and it's only $18.55 costs. [Status 07.09.2018] and gives a good overview. Now I haven't had it for a long time [almost 4 months] and the weather has been cloudy most of the time so I've only used it a couple of times. But I'm happy with it and the price. i think it's ok I recommend it.

This is not a diagonal, it's a diagonal. Bought for my Celestron C90 Maxutov and it has worked well so far. *The image it provides while the corrected "upside down" is reversed from "left to right", so don't use that diagonal if your main need is a fully erected/corrected image. * Since it is a mirror, it adds a third reflective surface. to the optical path of the Maksutov telescope. If you want the optical perfection of a prismatic star diagonal, this isn't it.

Bought to replace the diagonal that came with an old but unused donated (I'm a teacher) Meade 80mm Adventure Scope. The Mead diagonal was likely very far away, interfering with meaningful astronomical observations. The SVBONY product was good value, arrived as described, well packaged and quickly. This improves visibility, making the telescope easy to use for wide-angle, low-magnification observations. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this product but my knowledge and experience is limited…

At first I liked this diagonal. then I looked at the diffraction pattern which showed my scope was far from collimating. the diffraction pattern looked like this: (((((((o) The problem is that this is a refractor, so it's unlikely. I checked without the diagonal and everything was fine!
