Swann ADS 180 Imitation Security Camera Review

This simulated camera is a great addition to any home security system. The design looks realistic and the flashing LED light is convincing. The product is very easy to install and is a great value for the price. The only con is that the product does not have any actual security features like a real camera would, which may be a concern for some customers. Overall, a great option for those looking to add an extra layer of security to their home without breaking the bank on electronics.

These fake cameras do exactly what they are supposed to do. They are like their real colleagues in everything. I ended up having to break the bad news to my installer that he had placed this dummy camera in a place where it was supposed to be live. It's great for saving some money by installing it in hard-to-reach spots or in places where you want some sort of deterrent but don't need to install an additional camera.

These are good solid cameras that look like real Swann camera bodies with the camera removed and the cables cut. I would give this 5 stars if they left the power cord intact so the intact LEDs actually work in the dark giving the appearance of a real working camera. Since they are there, no one in the dark would even know they were installed, defeating the purpose of the dummy camera. They do their job well in daylight or in a well-lit area.
