EXCELLENT - YOU WILL LOVE SWANSON

You will really love the built in bubble level and how it makes it easy to document corners that rise off the 'plane'. Much better than trying to juggle a torpedo level!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • weak

Doesn't hold corner

Not usable. You can tighten the screw as hard as you can and it still doesn't hold the angle so slight pressure can cause it to move even if the screw is difficult to loosen.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Available in white only

Easy to use, affordable

I really liked this tool. Simple, good length and easy to use. I built an accent wall out of an old wooden fence and this tool was perfect for measuring the different angles of drywall as my vaulted ceiling was tapered down.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No automatic

Accurate angle lock

The problem with most devices is getting an accurate angle and/or locking the angle. This guy does both. Fix it, fix it. The angle is always perfect. To be honest I am impressed with years of using protractor measuring tools.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unsafe

Why I Waited?: Carpenter's Angle

This sliding T-slant is great. Its construction is solid and the locking wheel is durable. I've wanted one for a long time but kept putting it off. The price was too good to pass up. There is no need to overpay for the brand. The built-in spirit level has proven to be very practical.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive

Great product for the price

As other reviews have pointed out, this T-Slant is understated and doesn't have a fancy wooden handle. But again, it shouldn't be a decorative centerpiece as it is the tool to be used. So it works very well. The handle is very large and comfortable to grip and holds the angle well and securely. functional level. The handle is hard plastic so you can tap it when needed. For a sub $10 bevel I don't think you can beat it. I would combine its functionality with any $30 or $40 design.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
