I use these glasses at a coffee station. I put espresso beans in one, packets of sugar in another, and additional packets of sugar in a third. It makes my area really neat and beautiful. Upon receipt I ran the glasses through the dishwasher and she washed them well. I prefer to look at the lids by hand since they are made of wood.

It's a nice glass but the lid is too loose. You can easily remove it. I don't use it for food storage and I don't think it stays fresh anyway. I have to be very careful when taking it and remember not to take it by the lid. When I grabbed it for the first time, it almost fell on the floor because I pulled it out from under the lid. Like I said, it's cute for a bathroom but not for food storage.

I usually have several different types of coffee, so I have a good set of glasses to keep the coffee fresh. The only improvement I would like to see is adding something to the lids to hold the label. I'm still putting stickers on the sides, but it would be better if there was some. And one more thing - if the jars are full and a little heavier, don't just take them by the lid. You will slide.

I bought similar glasses from Target and looked for other sizes. I liked the wooden lids, although Target's are less durable and finished than these. I love them, the glass is thick and good quality, they came carefully packaged and nothing is broken. The lids are very nicely made, I just wiped them down with a damp cloth with soap and water and let them air dry. I washed the glasses by hand. Lid closes very well.
