It was fairly easy to assemble and very sturdy. My cat still prefers to sleep in a basket next to a tree than on the tree itself. However, one night at 1:46am she learned to jump from the top platform to my bed, now she knows how to grab my attention for a snack can excite in the early morning.

I really like this scratching post. I hate rugs because they end up looking so dirty and don't go with my mid-century decor. I wanted something that would blend in with my furniture and not stick out like a thumb, but still be big enough for the cat to run away from the dogs. He loves this tree and I was even surprised how he climbed into the box (he's quite a big cat). Easy to assemble, solid base, always get compliments.

Wrong parts received. The short supports were 39 cm higher than stated in the parts sheet instead of 20.5, the longer supports were 45 cm instead of 38 cm. Wrong base. This cat tree has the size and perches I was looking for! Also, I don't like fully carpeted models and they are much nicer to look at. I only took off one star for the sharp corners in the compartment and it didn't have a stabilizing strap. I noticed the corners before ordering so I also received the corner protectors and the problem was solved! It's sturdy and roomy enough for my 16lb Maine Coon and I love that it has a scratching area big enough to stretch out and scratch fully. The top perch
