I bought it in 2016 and only recently (January 2019) got around to putting it on. Unfortunately, the studs on my wall are 18" apart, and the final work bracket holes are ANOTHER 16" apart (see photo). I have not seen this as a problem in any of the descriptions or reviews and this mount MUST be bolted firmly to wood studs or concrete to safely support the weight. Very good TV wall mount with a few small exceptions. 1. Samsung TV 40 cannot be fixed with the supplied screws. Additional screws had to be purchased. The seller sent them separately. 2. The bracket that attaches to the TV is 1/2 inch higher than Samsung's. So if you look, you can see that it's sticking out over the top of the TV. Looks a little sticky but works. 3. Installation is a lot easier than I thought. In fact, it was easier to install than the much smaller TV mount I recently installed. It supports the weight of our 55 inch TV very well. Easy to fold up and down which is great because you can adjust the angles with light reflections etc. And it would be great for a movie night with guests (kids?) sitting on the floor. Bought for a 39 inch TV. The price is correct. Easy to attach to TV. The only question is whether or not you need to use locations. There are no instructions in the instructions, there is enough information in the instructions for mounting on the wall. The only issue we had was using the screws that came with the mount. The instructions said to drill a 1/8" pilot hole. It felt too small and the screws were difficult to tighten even with soap. Probably should have asked for a larger drill bit…
