There is no jury yet. Broke on second use

We bought this whole hammer drill because it was sturdy and not plastic. We have it used once when we got it and it worked great.when we used it a second time one of the metal stamps broke in half warranty expired exactly 5 weeks later i called swing line and they will send me a new one Will send replacement punches but they are out of stock at the moment.

Bought in April, stopped working in August!

Used in the office and we bought it because it seemed heavier than the usual pun. Also, the punched holes were slightly larger than usual, making binding easier. We had to send the first one back because the hole punch tray didn't hold up and the second one just stopped working after 4 months. I've always considered Swingline to be one of the most respected office product lines, but apparently their decision to manufacture them in China resulted in an inferior product. Only 3 stamps are supplied, if you want more they must be ordered separately.

The fact that there are only 3 punch heads is mentioned twice on the product page. It's not highlighted though, and I don't think I'm the only one who missed it. Rotary hammers may have been listed in the description as "commonly purchased with" along with a link to that product page. Also, the part number on this product page is 74854. I never found 74854 on other shopping sites, but I did find 75866. 74867 and 74868 are good for that kick. I was disappointed in myself - I didn't read…
