Nice jacket but the quality is hit or miss.

I love this jacket but it took me 3 tries to get a good one. The first had huge sleeves (since they put medium-sized hands on a small bodice). The second was sewn with a twisted sleeve lining, making it almost impossible to reach. Luckily, three is the appeal and the fit is perfect.

Pros
  • 240T 3000mm water repellent polyester ripstop machine washable
Cons
  • weight

Perfect layering jacket

Large order. My usual medium size would fit perfectly but I wanted to wear a jacket over thick bulky sweaters when traveling and a plus size would be perfect. The sleeves are a bit long, but the adjustable cuffs aren't a problem. This jacket will be used as outerwear on the Alaskan trip next May and should keep you warm and dry. I love that it reduces packaging needs!

Pros
  • Lightweight raincoat with hood, mesh lining and two zipped side pockets
Cons
  • Small issues

Questionable quality

Looks like a regular jacket. Haven't worn it in the elements yet. However, the quality is not the highest. The first time I tried to open and unzip it after taking it out of the box, the tab at the top detached from the material. As I won't be using a button at the top of the neck it's not a big deal but I would expect the buttons and zippers to work properly even on a cheap jacket. I hope it turns out to be really resistant to rain and wind.

Pros
  • Adjustable elastic drawstrings at hood and bottom hem for a secure fit in the wind
Cons
  • Low repairability

Great fit, looks great too. NON-BREATHABLE

I bought this raincoat to replace the heavier one I wear in the fall and winter. This is a very light material, but I got hot in it very quickly. It was a bit like wearing the top of a sauna suit. I still like it a lot and as long as I'm not too active it will work fine. Cut, cut and color - all TOP! So looks like a more expensive jacket. The only thing that didn't fit was the armholes. They are. too large.

Pros
  • Ventilated back panel to keep you cool in wet temperatures
Cons
  • High price

Worked on raincoats

I wore this jacket for over an hour in rain ranging from light to heavy rain. I was dry as hell so I'm happy! I only have a few minor complaints. #1, the zipper seems to catch a bit on the fabric. As long as you're careful and slow when zipping or unzipping, you *should* be fine. #2, the pulleys on the hood do not have a "spring loaded" feature that holds the tension cords in place. A little weird. But it seemed to stay taut when I pulled hard on it for the most part. All in all, it seems like…

Pros
  • Lightweight construction for easy folding and carrying
Cons
  • Was damaged

Inexpensive but just right

Bought for a trip to Ireland. I wanted to avoid a heavy coat but it was going to rain and get cold. The layering of a t-shirt, then a sweater, and then this jacket was perfect. A shirt and sweater kept me warm in temperatures of 48-65 degrees, and the jacket protected me from the rain. There are velcro straps that fit snugly around my wrists, which helps keep the long sleeves from covering my arms and keeping me warm. There is velcro on the flap that closes the zip and buttons on the top and…

Pros
  • Machine wash
Cons
  • There are some nuances
