As a gift to my grandfather, the old style suited him well without damaging the item itself. It came in a gorgeous color with a vintage finish.

I was very pleasantly surprised when my granddaughter bought this watch for me as a Christmas present. This is a good replica of an old fashioned watch I saw as a kid. I'm glad the face is covered in plastic even after opening the case. Some old clocks have exposed hands. It even says "Greatest Grandpa!" The fact that he's well done and having a good time is a bonus! Who cares if it's not pure gold!

These ratings didn't lie! This is a fabulous product. I got this for my dad as a gift from his grandkids. He loves pocket watches and I know he will love it. It's a good weight and the chain is a good length. Opens flawlessly. I had to reset the time, but it wasn't difficult. The gift box is a nice touch, but you won't be able to use it. Suppliers should change the packaging so that it doesn't have a HUGE white sticker that wraps around all sides and you can't carefully remove it.

This is not the best pocket watch and don't expect it to be. It costs $18 and to be honest I was expecting the worst for the price but when it arrived I was blown away by how high quality it really is. Now that I've said it, there are a few flaws that I noticed when I looked at it up close." 1. The front cover is uneven (not to the point of madness) I only noticed it because I was looking at it 2.
